A North Sheen locksmith,

Local Richmond locksmiths covering North Sheen. Lockouts, lock changes, uPVC repairs and burglary work, with labour rates, estimated parts and VAT given on the call.
North Sheen sits in TW9, roughly 3 miles from central Richmond and about 12-15 minutes in the van depending on traffic on the A316. It's a quieter residential pocket, mostly owner-occupiers in Edwardian and inter-war semis and terraces, with a scattering of 1960s and 70s purpose-built flats along the busier roads. We get called out here fairly regularly for lockouts, lock upgrades after nearby break-ins, and jobs on older timber doors that have never had a decent cylinder fitted.
Lower Richmond Road and Manor Road are the main arteries, and we come in off the A316 via Chertsey Road most of the time. Streets like Townshend Road and Ennerdale Road have that classic inter-war semi layout, and a lot of those front doors are still running worn-out Yale rim locks or the original five-lever mortice that hasn't been serviced in decades. Sheen Lane gives access to the older Victorian stock closer to the East Sheen border. Honestly, North Sheen has more outdated lock hardware than almost anywhere else we cover in TW9.
Most common North Sheen jobs
- Lockouts on inter-war semis, usually 18-25 minutes response from the Richmond depot
- Worn Yale rim lock replacements on Edwardian and 1930s front doors
- Anti-snap cylinder upgrades, TS007-rated, after a run of attempts on Lower Richmond Road
- Five-lever mortice locks that have seized or lost their key, common on older timber doors throughout the area
- Burglary repairs, boarding up and fitting a temporary lock after a kick-in, same-day service
- Flat entry doors on 1960s purpose-built blocks where the original lock has finally given up
